Not comfortable at all Positive: Location - in the heart of student territory Negative: This is ground floor apartment and the decor was rough, with wallpaper coming off the walls. There was a faulty electrical connection in the bathroom, so every time you put the heating on the whole house electricity blew. The WiFi name was wrong and I couldn’t access. Shower was tiny and not comfortable.

À fuir, très mauvais séjour. Logement non conforme et insalubre Positive: Rien Negative: Je déconseille fortement ce logement. Le séjour a été extrêmement décevant et problématique : Électricité défaillante : la panne a duré quasiment tout le séjour, rendant la douche, le radiateur et plusieurs appareils essentiels inutilisables. Douche et chauffage inutilisables, impossible de se laver après un footing sous la pluie. WiFi et appareils électroménagers hors service. Parking trompeur : annoncé “gratuit dans la rue”, limité à 1h, nous avons dû payer 25 £ par jour dans un parking sécurisé. Propreté et sécurité du jardin : insalubre, présence de piège à rat avec avertissement de ne pas ouvrir la porte. Salon sans fenêtre : seule une petite fenêtre oscillo-battante dans la salle de bain. Communication problématique : le propriétaire a fait preuve de mauvaise foi, défensif, et n’a jamais résolu les problèmes malgré nos signalements.

Disappointing apartment and location with a foul toilet odour and no air flow Positive: Distance to town was good. Negative: There were no windows that could be opened apart from a tiny one in the bathroom. The patio doors had a passive aggressive not asking them to be shut at all times, the patio it led onto was messy and dirty with full bin bags stored there. The no air flow was unbearable. The location was close to town, but did not feel safe. When we arrived I was shocked it was next door to a Chinese takeaway, and behind a boarded up shop. There was no street parking nearby as described, all street parking nearby is permit holders only at specific times. There was a uni car park nearby which can be used on weekends but at a high costs which needs renewing every 24 hours on an app. The apartment was generally clean, but there was a foul smell whenever the toilet flushed. The yard was dirty and even if possible to enter we would have avoided.

Positive: Great location to visit son in university and for city centre. Clean Negative: Free parking was advertised. There was not free parking even though owner confirmed that there was 24 hours before arrival! I had to park a 12 minute walk away and pay £25 per day. Booking.com refunded the parking after I made a complaint about the falsely advertised free parking! The finish of the property looks rushed e.g. skirting board that doesn't fit properly, dripped paint, hole in wall behind bedroom door where door handle has been banged. Dishwasher was missing.

Would recommend for short stay - very handy for Gig Venue's - BONUS - Uber prices very cheap Positive: A little confusion over the "Pin" from Booking.com - but after checking "Check In" on App - located the code - just a little unclear that the Booking PIN is not for key-safe Negative: WiFi a little intermittent for use on personal devices - TV was perfect though
